My First Post

As this is my very first blog and my first post I think I should start by talking a bit about myself. For those of you who don't know me I am 28 years old, married and just started a career in real estate. I am sure most of you are thinking the same thing, not another real estate agent with a boring blog about Real Estate. I assure you I will not bore you with copious amounts of real estate information and jargon unless of course you want me to;)

Instead I will keep to the title of my blog life, love and living in Toronto. With that being said the word "Life" represents the insight I will give you into my life as a young women entering into the real estate world and the trials and tribulations I am sure I will encounter on a daily basis. Plus as everyone knows every day is a new adventure where we learn new things about ourselves and the world around us so if I ever have as Oprah says an aha moment I plan on sharing them with you. Oh yes I just quoted Oprah she is one of my LOVES, which I will talk about next.

As for "Love" I always come across new and interesting things that I love so this will be a great platform to share it with all of you! I would say my top 3 things I am passionate about are food, fashion and TV, so you will be hearing a lot about that and of course other things. For any of you burger lovers out there my cousin and her husband have a great blog about their quest to find the best burger in the city. Please read it as I am sure their tantalizing tales will not only make your mouth water but I am sure they will narrow down some great places for you to visit. http://tosbestburger.wordpress.com/

Now for the last part Living In Toronto, as I was born and raised in Toronto I know my fair share about this beautiful city. I grew up in Riverdale and now own my own home in the area, so I must say I am a little bias in that I feel Riverdale is the best area of Toronto. However in all honesty Toronto has a number of amazing areas or communities all with their own unique flair and charms.

However, since I live in Riverdale I am always up to date on what's happening in the area and want to share it with you! For instance did you know that they are running free movies at Riverdale park. It's a fantastic idea that you and your family should take advantage of. Instead of eating dinner at home why not opt for a picnic dinner at the park and then a movie to follow. It's cheap and a lot of fun! For more information please check out the website:

Also for some other ideas of what to do in T.O. there is the big Caribana festival this weekend. It is in its 42 year and features events that celebrate music, cuisine, arts of the Caribbean Region. For more info check out http://www.caribanatoronto.com

That's all for now!
